Classified sites and Monuments
Madagascar encounters 146 classified sites and monuments, of which only 27 have been restored to date. Some of them are now included in the World Heritage, like the royal Hill of Ambohimanga, the Tsingy of Bemaraha, the cliffs and caves of Isandra, or the Mahafaly Hinterland. Among these sites and by province, we can cite in:
The Rova plateau, the commemorative churches, the Hill of Antsahadinta, the falls of Tsinjoarivo, the mountain of Tsiafajavona, the vestiges of Jean laborde works at Mantasoa, the primitive vegetation of Ibity near Antsirabe, and the lake Itasy. Antsiranana: Analamera, the sugar loaf, the Amber Mountain, the caves of Orangea and those of Ankarana, the sacred lake of Antanavo, the royal palace of Ankify, the falls of Mahavavy.
